Heather Spann Artist
Bio:	Heather Naomi Spann was raised in Southern California. She studied art at universities in San Diego, California and in Istanbul, Turkey. Initially she received her BA in Fine Art with and emphasis in Sculpture. She worked in a sculpture department at the university in San Diego as an assistant in the metal foundry. She has traveled extensively throughout Europe, Asia, and Central America…landing in Turkey, where she studied glass, painting, drawing, ceramics, and sculpture. She was and apprentice to the city’s sculptor, working on large scale commissions and experimental processes. She gave seminars on various art related topics and assisted the professors in the art department. Upon her return to the states, she has been apprenticing with a world renowned glass master and continuing to paint from her deepest emotions and experiences. She has shown work in various world wide galleries and fairs. Her work stems from a deep desire to serve the world, acknowledging a purpose for truth, love, self direction, and spiritual reflection..
